1. Pic bergantung pada frekuensi atau bilangan getaran per
saat. Semakin tinggi frekuensi, maka semakin tinggi jugalah pic sesuatu not
muzik. Jika kita memetik tali gitar, kita dapat lihat dan merasai getaran yang
terhasil. Seterusnya, bunyi yang terhasil daripada getaran bergantung pada
kepanjangan, ketebalan, dan ketegangan (tension) tali tersebut.
2.Semakin pendek kecil/nipis tali menyebabkan getaran semakin cepat dan menghasilkan pic tegang yang tinggi.
3. Ia Pergerakan ton boleh berulang ke atas atau ke bawah mengikut langkah seperti
anak tangga, mungkin separuh langkah, langkah penuh ataupun melompat. Turun dan
naik ton menentukan pic.
